Sunnybank turnout for Remah Naji for Moreton

Saturday saw a different mobilisation from @Justice for Palestine, with a small crowd making the trek out to Sunnybank to provide a visible rally in support for Remah Naji to become the MP for Moreton for the Greens. Speakers spoke of the historic opportunity to finally have an MP that represents the genuine aspirations of a young and highly diverse electorate, and bringing the fight for justice to stop Australia's support of genocide, for Treaty and Justice for First Nations, for housing, renters and cost of living justice, and for someone to fight alongside the street for the interests of everyday people over corporate price gouging, and to force the billionaires to pay their fair share. The rally then marched to Sunnybank Plaza for visibility and handing out how-to-vote cards, where local Moreton voters made lots of noise in support of Remah's campaign.
